Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in ETL development, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Talend, SQL, and Business Intelligence tools. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable data pipelines, data warehousing solutions, and cloud-based analytics platforms. Experience in the banking or financial services domain is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend Open Studio and Talend Administration Center (TAC).
  • Build and support end-to-end data ingestion and transformation frameworks using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataflow, and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
  • Develop scalable batch and incremental data processing solutions for structured and semi-structured data sources.
  • Implement data warehouse solutions including fact and dimension models, SCD Type-2, and historical data management.
  • Optimize BigQuery datasets through partitioning, clustering, query tuning, and performance improvements.
  • Create and maintain SQL scripts, database objects, views, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Develop data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and audit controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and support production ETL workflows, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Automate operational activities such as reporting, alerting, and job monitoring.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and application teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Build dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives and hybrid data integration environments.
