Job Summary

Seeking a C++ Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern C++, object-oriented design principles, multithreading, and database technologies, along with experience working in collaborative Agile development environments and CI/CD-driven software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern C++ standards and best practices.
• Implement robust and efficient object-oriented solutions with a focus on code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and optimize multithreaded applications while ensuring thread safety and efficient resource management.
• Utilize smart pointers and modern memory management techniques to build reliable and maintainable software.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot data-driven applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver features on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and problem resolution activities.
• Maintain source code using Git and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and integration tests.

Skill Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ and software development best practices.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design principles, design patterns, and class architecture.
• Good knowledge of STL containers, algorithms, data structures, and memory management concepts.
• Practical experience with multithreading, synchronization mechanisms, concurrency concepts, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with smart pointers and resource management techniques.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements

• Positions based with priority to Bangalore and Chennai.
• Additionally, Hyderabad and Pune can also be considered.
• Initially would have to work from client’s location 5 days a week and after 2 months can switch to Hybrid working - 3 days WFO
