Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Automotive Embedded Application Software Engineer with expertise in Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, ETAS ASCET, dSPACE TargetLink), Embedded C, Functional Safety, and Automotive Software Development. The role involves developing, testing, debugging, and integrating embedded software for automotive ECUs while ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and established software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop embedded application software for automotive ECU functions.Design, model, implement, and maintain software using MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, ETAS ASCET, and dSPACE TargetLink.Perform requirements analysis, software architecture, design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.Generate production code from MBD models and support model verification activities.Develop and validate safety-related software in compliance with ISO 26262.Execute unit testing using TPT and related test tools.Ensure adherence to software development processes, coding standards, configuration management, and requirements management.Support defect analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Embedded C Programming.
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, ETAS ASCET, and dSPACE TargetLink.
  • Knowledge of Embedded Application Software Development and ECU functions.
  • Understanding of software architecture and software development methodologies (V-Model, Agile).
  • Experience with code generation, model-based development, and software integration.
  • Expertise in Unit Testing (TPT) and software verification activities.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and requirements management tools.

Process & Compliance

  • Good understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
  • Experience working with automotive software development lifecycle processes.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
