Job Summary

Senior developer role for Cisco switching platform development and sustenance project

Key Responsibilities

Ability to fix issues in platform infra modules in Cisco switching with minimal guidance

Deliver as per customer expectations

Create new servieability code for switching assurance

Skill Requirements

Experience: 3 to 6 years of professional experience in platform software development in Linux environments in Networking domain                                                                             
Languages: Good hands-on C programming skills, Data Structures                                                                                                                                      
Driver Development: Maintain low-level Linux kernel-mode network device drivers.                                                                                                                                  
Platform Support: Understanding of platform drivers and subsystems, PHY Transceivers, PoE                                                                                                                                         
Work experience in PoE or PHY Transceiver is good to have
Hardware Interface: Work with hardware teams on PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, and DMA controller interfaces.                                                                                                                                               
Networking Knowledge is must                                                                                                   
Tools: Proficient in using Git and debugging tools like GDB                                                                                                                                        
Ability to work with minimal guidance and exhibit ownership
