Job Summary
The Teamcenter Developer - PLM technical role responsible for supporting Teamcenter development, configuration, testing, documentation, and application support activities under the guidance of senior developers and leads. The role is suitable for freshers or early-career engineers who have basic Teamcenter exposure and are expected to build hands-on capability across BMIDE, workflows, ITK, Active Workspace, BOM, Change Management, and integration support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Teamcenter Configuration and Development Support
• Assist in Teamcenter configuration activities using BMIDE, including basic business objects, properties, naming rules, LOVs, constants, and templates.
• Support creation and modification of simple workflows, workflow templates, rule handlers, action handlers, and task assignments as per design inputs from senior developers.
• Develop or modify simple ITK utilities, batch programs, and small code changes using C/C++ under supervision.
• Support Active Workspace configuration activities such as style sheet updates, command visibility checks, tiles, preferences, and simple UI validation.
• Assist in RAC and AWC validation after configuration changes, deployments, and environment refreshes.
• Update configuration trackers, object model documentation, deployment notes, and low-level technical documentation.
Skill Requirements
Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of Siemens Teamcenter architecture, modules, object model, preferences, and deployment concepts.
• Hands-on or training-level exposure to BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Query Builder, Access Manager, Organization, My Teamcenter, Structure Manager, and Active Workspace.
• Basic programming knowledge in C/C++ or Java; ability to understand and modify simple ITK code under guidance.
• Exposure to XML, XSLT, TCXML, SQL basics, REST/SOA concepts, and log analysis.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter Engineering, BOM Management, Change Management, Document Management, and release processes.
• Basic knowledge of version control and delivery tools such as Git/SVN, Jira, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, or Eclipse.
Other Requirements
Trained in Python
