Job Summary

High Level Tasks: 
•                  Modelling components, composites, and assemblies. 
•                  Handling and structuring large assembly models. 
•                  Surface generation and updates (IML).

•                  DWG creation and updates. 
•                  Laser file creation and updates. 
•                  Composite Flat pattern generation and updates. 
•                  Design and Review documents creation and updates. 
•                  OSOS and CN implementation. 
•                  PLM data management in Windchill. 
 
Baseline Skillset: 
•                  Proficient in CATIA V5 modelling and structuring large scale models. Specifically, within Part design, Assembly design and GSD. 
•                  Experienced in CPD workbench for ply modelling, ply splicing, producibility analysis, surface generation (IMLs), laser and FP creation. 
•                  Skilled in drawing creation typically model driven, drawing updates and GD&T application. 
•                  Capable of performing interface checks and clearance analysis using standard CATIA tools such as LDA. 
•                  Creating design documentation and conducting model reviews to ensure quality. 
•                  Experienced with Windchill PLM system, design iterations and change management. 
•                  Critical thinking with orientation towards parametric modelling and model reusability. 
•                  Familiarity with VBA macros, KW tools and 3DX is an advantage. 

Key Responsibilities

1. To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs , resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) /new developments based on business/ client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
3. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements
4. To provide technical guidance to junior developers
5. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
