Key Responsibilities
2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
3. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements
4. To provide technical guidance to junior developers
5. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.
Skill Requirements
The Lead PLC / SCADA Developer - 2 to 3 years’ experience will work within a dedicated Project Team. They may be required to work on one or more projects concurrently as agreed with the Software Team Leader. The position holds responsibility for the software design and engineering within the assigned projects.
As a Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Daily follow up of own tasks to ensure technical schedule attainment, focus on Software Development for Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or Ignition SCADA experience
- Reporting of project progress and resource status on a regular basis
- Preparing key control systems engineering deliverables: Software Requirements Specifications, Software Design Documents and system test procedures, Coding
- Preparing Test Requirements for specific software applications/units to standards as defined within the Codes of Practice.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science based discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Proven automation experience with specific focus on PLC and HMI technologies - (Beckhoff TwinCAT and/or Ignition SCADA experience are preferable)
- Good understanding of industrial networks
- Able to communicate in English
