Role Summary
We are seeking a Kubernetes Engineer / DevOps Engineer to build, operate, and scale cloud‑native, containerized platforms. The role focuses on Kubernetes engineering, DevOps automation, supporting modern microservices and high‑availability production environments
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Kubernetes & Platform Engineering
- Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters (managed or self‑managed) for production workloads
- Manage cluster networking, ingress, service discovery, and scaling strategies
- Optimize Kubernetes environments for performance, reliability, and security
- Implement Kubernetes best practices for high availability, fault tolerance, and observability
DevOps & Infrastructure Automation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and platform components
- Enable secure, repeatable deployments using cloud‑native and DevOps patterns
- Support GitOps‑based deployment workflows where applicable
Cloud‑Native Operations & Reliability
- Deploy containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems
- Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, and root‑cause analysis
Collaboration & Engineering Excellence
- Work closely with application developers, SREs, and security teams
- Contribute to architectural decisions and platform standards
- Promote DevOps culture, automation‑first mindset, and continuous improvement
Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Core Requirements
- 3–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Kubernetes engineering, or platform engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes
- Solid experience with Docker and containerized application workflows
- Strong understanding of:
- Linux systems
- Networking fundamentals
DevOps & CI/CD
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Git‑based workflows and release automation
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep)
Cloud Platforms
- Hands‑on experience with at least one cloud provider:
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, or GKE)
Nice to Have / Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Familiarity with GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux)
- Knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd)
- Experience with:
- Serverless integrations
- Event‑driven architectures
- Observability tools:
- Prometheus, Grafana
- Cloud‑native monitoring solutions
- Exposure to multi‑cloud or hybrid environments
- Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, cloud certifications)
