Job Summary

Looking for a senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Functional Lead to drive Order Management, Distributed Order Orchestration (DOO), and lean Order Management configuration and process mapping for implementation and rollout engagements. This offshore role requires strong functional leadership across order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, exception handling, solution design, testing, data migration, integrations, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and delivery governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement analysis and map approved order-to-fulfillment processes to Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management and DOO capabilities.
  • Own end-to-end functional design and lean-OM configuration, including order capture, orchestration process assignment, fulfillment-line flows, change management, holds, cancellations, returns, and exception handling.
  • Lead the preparation and review of business requirements, solution design documents, Functional Design Documents, configuration workbooks, process maps, and functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
  • Configure and validate Order Management and DOO, including orchestration process definitions and assignments, fulfillment tasks, statuses, rules, and relevant touchpoints with Pricing, Global Order Promising, Inventory, Shipping, Procurement, and Costing.
  • Plan and lead CRP, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production-readiness validation; drive defect triage, root-cause analysis, resolution coordination, and business sign-off.
  • Lead functional data-migration activities for sales orders and related reference or transactional data, including mapping, cleansing rules, FBDI validation, reconciliation, and cutover support.
  • Coordinate with client SMEs, onshore and offshore teams, technical and integration teams, and business users for design decisions, third-party or EDI integrations, training, knowledge transfer, cutover, and transition activities.
  • Provide functional leadership to the offshore team by planning work, reviewing deliverables, mentoring consultants, tracking risks and dependencies, and ensuring adherence to agreed quality and delivery standards.
  • Facilitate design-authority and governance reviews, assess fit-to-standard options, manage functional decisions and change impacts, and escalate critical solution or delivery risks with clear recommendations.
  • Support effort estimation, sprint or milestone planning, status reporting, cutover governance, hypercare prioritization, and the controlled transition of the solution to support teams.

Skill Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management and Distributed Order Orchestration, including configuration, process mapping, and solution ownership.
  • Strong understanding of the complete sales-order and fulfillment lifecycle, orchestration rules and processes, fulfillment tasks, order changes, holds, cancellations, returns, exceptions, and cross-functional SCM dependencies.
  • Proven ability to lead solution workshops, translate complex requirements into scalable lean-OM designs, and govern configurations, process maps, FDDs, and functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
  • Experience leading reports, interfaces, FBDI-based data migration, third-party or EDI integrations, testing cycles, cutover, hypercare, and rollout activities.
  • Strong client-facing leadership, communication, documentation, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, mentoring, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Order Management integrations and upstream or downstream dependencies, with the ability to define functional contracts, validate payload and error-handling requirements, and support end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Ability to assess solution options against business value, Oracle standard capability, supportability, performance, security, and operational impact, and to provide clear recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated team leadership with the ability to allocate work, coach functional consultants, conduct quality reviews, manage competing priorities, and drive timely closure of decisions and deliverables.
  • 10-15 years of overall Oracle SCM or ERP functional experience, with substantial hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management and DOO.
  • Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end Oracle SCM implementation or rollout engagements, preferably in an offshore functional-lead capacity.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from a recognized university in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, IT, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client SMEs and delivery teams across discovery, design, configuration, testing, migration, cutover, training, rollout, hypercare, and transition.
  • Fluent written and verbal English, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead independently while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
  • Track record of owning senior-level functional deliverables, solution governance, stakeholder communication, team mentoring, and issue resolution in complex or multi-country Oracle Cloud programs.
  • Ability to work across time zones, manage offshore delivery commitments, and communicate status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to project leadership and client stakeholders.

Other Requirements

  • Experience leading Oracle SCM implementations or rollouts across EMEA, North America, or APAC within global onshore-offshore delivery models.
  • Oracle Order Management Cloud certification and relevant industry-domain experience are added advantages.
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Pricing, Global Order Promising, Inventory Management, Shipping, Procurement, and Supply Chain Orchestration is preferred for effective cross-functional solution design.
  • Experience with Oracle implementation methodologies, Oracle Cloud quarterly-update impact assessments, and post-go-live stabilization or application-management transition is preferred.
  • Works with: Client Order Management and SCM SMEs, Onshore Functional Leads, Oracle Technical/Integration Team, Data and Reporting Teams, and Business Users.
  • Offshore implementation and rollout leadership with structured collaboration across client, onshore, offshore, functional, technical, data, and integration teams.
