Job Summary
As a Senior Embedded Device Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Testing Scenarios For Embedded Systems.
2. Execute Functionality Testing In Alignment With The Test Plan And Respective Test Cases, Utilizing Python For Automation Where Applicable To Enhance Efficiency.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans, Ensuring They Accurately Reflect The Requirements And Scope Of The Work Assigned To The Team.
4. Track Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics, Compiling And Publishing Progress Reports To Inform Stakeholders Of Testing Outcomes.
5. Coordinate Discussions With The Testing Team And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates On Testing Progress And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.
Skill Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Software, System and hardware testing of medical device.
- Working knowledge on Python, test automation frameworks (e.g. Squish, Google Test, Robot Framework, PyTest) & executing Medical Device Testing activities.
- Perform regression, integration, and system testing, Test case design techniques.
- Experience in automation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Supporting ad hoc test execution as requested by cross-functional teams.
- Test Procedure Authoring and executing.
- Bug reporting and troubleshooting.
- Conducting exploratory testing to identify corner scenarios.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, QA, systems engineers, and regulatory teams.
Other Requirements
Working on-site, 5 days a week.
