Job Summary
Remote Infra Monitoring & trouble shooting for networks. Hands on experience but not limited on Cisco devices
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting (FLT), tracking, and resolution of day-to-day network and security devices e.g. switches, firewalls, load balancers issues. Timely escalation of escalated calls. Deep Analysis of events/alerts (Threshold, Slow Connectivity, Data Traffic with source & Destination IPs and ports, Application not accessible or being accessed slow)., Continuous Customer Coordinating and sharing information/updates for Major outages and Critical Connectivity (High Business Impact/impacting multiple links/users) with actions via emails, Chat, Phone & ticketing systems. End to End Vendor Management, Vendor Analysis Reports, Basic Troubleshooting & Configurations, Reports (Daily, On Request) Trouble Tickets Updation on timely basis and same applicable for the closure of the tickets. Willingness to work on rotational shifts, hands on working experience on MS office like Outlook, Excel, word. Managing multiple monitoring screens
Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s Science degree (preferably engineering related), CCNA Qualified with Good communication Skills both written and verbal
Other Requirements
Incident/Problem escalation to the second level team and follow the defined process. Focus on process improvement to increase both efficiency and customer satisfaction. Working experience to Monitoring of Network fault, Performance, Flow & Physical connectivity of Networking Devices through Network Management tools (NMS like Solar Winds - NPM, NNMi & NFA) and having fundamentals common Service Desk Tool like Remedy & Service Now. Keeping track of the network equipment inventory and forward suggestions to the Level 2 for further analysis.
