Senior Engineer Data - Network LAN/WAN

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated fresh    graduates / early career engineers who are interested in building a career    in Enterprise Networking and Next Generation Network Technologies. The role    focuses on supporting, learning, and gradually contributing to modern    network environments including Routing & Switching, SD WAN, Data Center    Networks, and Virtual Networking under the guidance of senior engineers.  

Key Responsibilities

 Support day-to-day    network operations under supervision as part of a larger delivery team. •    Perform initial troubleshooting and diagnostics of network-related incidents    and escalate appropriately. • Follow defined SOPs, runbooks, and operational    processes. • Assist senior engineers in: o Network changes o Migration and    transformation activities o Network documentation and diagrams • Work    closely with internal teams to understand recurring issues and participate    in problem analysis. • Maintain accurate documentation and update knowledge    bases. • Participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and technical    upskilling programs. • Develop strong understanding of customer environments    and service expectations.

Skill Requirements

Strong fundamentals in Networking concepts: o TCP/IP, OSI    Model o Routing & Switching basics o VLANs, NAT, DHCP, DNS • Basic    understanding or exposure to SD WAN concepts. • Awareness of Data Center    Networking (ACI / NSX at a conceptual level). • Basic Wireless networking    knowledge. Secondary / Nice-to-Have Skills • Exposure to any of the    following through labs, training, or projects: o Cisco ACI (basics / concepts)    o VMware NSX T (basic understanding) o SD WAN (Viptela / Velocloud /    Silverpeak – awareness level) o F5 (LTM/GTM – conceptual exposure) o Cloud    networking fundamentals (Azure / AWS) • Basic scripting exposure (Python /    PowerShell / Bash is a plus). • Willingness to learn Network Automation and    NetOps tools. ________________________________________ Technology Exposure    (Any 1–2 is Sufficient for Freshers) • Cisco Routing & Switching • SD    WAN (conceptual understanding) • Cisco ACI or VMware NSX (introductory    level) • Wireless Networking • Cloud Networking fundamentals (Azure / AWS –    basic)

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
