Senior Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Job Summary

The Sr Engineer in Support & Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and performance of GCP environments. This role involves writing, testing, and deploying maintainable code while providing exceptional support for existing features and enhancements. The engineer will collaborate with both technical teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain Existing Gcp Features And Troubleshoot Bugs By Utilizing Cloud Functions And Pub/Sub, Ensuring Prompt Resolution Of Ad-Hoc Requests And Enhancements Based On Client Requirements.
2. Provide Client Support By Presenting Data And Resolving Tickets Using Google Cloud Logging And Monitoring, Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Tasks While Adhering To Defined Quality Standards.
3. Document Enhancement Activities And Client Requirements, Creating Compliance Documents For Cmmi Standards And Ensuring Thoroughness And Accuracy.
4. Offer Technical Guidance To Junior Developers By Mentoring Them In Gcp Best Practices And Cloud Architecture Principles, Fostering A Collaborative Learning Environment.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Google Cloud Platform (Gcp) And Its Services.
2. Proficiency In Coding And Scripting Languages Relevant To Gcp Operations.
3. Familiarity With Cloud Monitoring And Logging Tools.
4. Good Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc) And Cmmi Documentation Standards.

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
