A seasoned Technical Business Analyst with good domain knowledge in Operational Resilience &expertise in navigating and implementing related regulatory requirements.
• Must have good analytical skills and a strong attention to detail. Ability to translate Business Requirements into insightful visualizations and to question existing practices/procedures, ensuring efficiency and recognition of streamlining opportunities are all key.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI for developing interactive dashboards and reports.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred, particularly in Excel VBA/macros to assist in automation and streamlining of processes.
• Capable of managing & coordinating testing phases including planning, execution, defect management and stakeholder communication to ensure successful & timely delivery.
• Experience in transforming processes for efficiencies and risk management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills enabling the individual to liaise effectively and share information with Nomura senior management and other key stakeholders throughout the industry. A self-motivator who is a fast learner and able to work proactively to identify opportunities for process improvement and/or realizing cost save.
• A strong sense of customer service and the ability to priorities workload and the expectations of internal clients.
• Work well within an extended team environment (on shore and off shore) and take a keen interest in developing the function
• Confidence to represent the department at any relevant internal meetings.
