Senior Engineer - Vmware Workspace ONE

Job Summary

The Sr Engineer in Support and Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the effective maintenance and enhancement of VMware Workspace ONE solutions. This position focuses on troubleshooting, client support, and the development of high-quality technical documentation, all while adhering to project timelines and quality standards. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain And Enhance Vmware Workspace One Features By Troubleshooting Bugs, Resolving Ad-Hoc Requests, And Implementing New Developments Based On Business Requirements And Input From Functional And Technical Teams.
2. Provide Exceptional Client Support By Monitoring Requirements, Presenting Data, Resolving Tickets, And Managing Day-To-Day Support Activities To Ensure Timely Delivery Of Tasks While Meeting Quality Standards.
3. Develop And Maintain Documentation Related To Enhancements, Ensuring Compliance With Cmmi Standards And Addressing Client Requirements Effectively.
4. Offer Technical Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Developers, Fostering Their Growth And Contributing To The Overall Skill Development Within The Team.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Vmware Workspace One, With A Solid Understanding Of Its Deployment And Management.
2. Strong Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Resolve Technical Issues Efficiently.
3. Familiarity With Cmmi Documentation And Processes.
4. Excellent Communication Skills For Effective Client Interaction And Team Collaboration.
5. Basic Knowledge Of Scripting And Automation Tools Related To Support Processes.

1. Vmware Certified Professional (Vcp) Certification Is Optional But Valuable
