Job Summary

  • Support Epic Ambulatory application build, configuration, maintenance, and optimization activities.
  • Analyze business and clinical requirements and translate them into Epic system solutions.
  • Configure and maintain ambulatory workflows including scheduling, charting, orders, referrals, and patient management processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for incidents, service requests, and enhancements.
  • Participate in application upgrades, testing, validation, and go-live support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Epic teams such as Cadence, Prelude, MyChart, Orders, and Clinical Documentation.
  • Conduct workflow analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance user experience and clinical efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, build specifications, and user guides.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide functional expertise during project discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, change management processes, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting Epic Ambulatory implementations, enhancements, or managed services engagements.
  • Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, application configuration, testing, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Epic Ambulatory Certification.
  • Experience with:
    • MyChart
    • Cadence
    • Prelude
    • Healthy Planet
    • Orders and Clinical Documentation
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL processes.
  • Prior experience supporting large healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

1. To design and develop robust and scalable end-to-end solutions, covering both front-end and back-end development.
2. To enhance an existing application and/or product, to incorporate a new feature or modify an existing one.
3. To tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
4. To identify and address bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end systems and optimize application performance / responsiveness through code improvements.
5. To communicate effectively with team members , collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
