Job Summary

  • Support Epic Cadence and Grand Central application build, maintenance, enhancements, and optimization activities.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epic scheduling and patient access solutions.
  • Configure and maintain appointment scheduling, provider templates, referrals, registration, and patient access workflows.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable resolutions.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, workflow analysis, system design, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Support application upgrades, integrated testing, regression testing, and go-live events.
  • Collaborate with Ambulatory, Prelude, Referrals, MyChart, and Revenue Cycle teams to support end-to-end patient workflows.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, build documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Provide operational support and recommend process improvements to increase scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance processes, and change management procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting Epic Cadence and/or Grand Central applications.
  • Strong understanding of patient scheduling, registration, patient access, and provider scheduling workflows.
  • Experience in application configuration, testing, production support, and enhancement projects.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage medium-complexity assignments and customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Epic Cadence Certification.
  • Active Epic Grand Central Certification (preferred).
  • Experience with:
    • Prelude
    • Referrals
    • MyChart
    • Ambulatory
    • Registration & Patient Access
  • Knowledge of healthcare operational workflows and scheduling best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile and ITIL environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. To design and develop robust and scalable end-to-end solutions, covering both front-end and back-end development.
2. To enhance an existing application and/or product, to incorporate a new feature or modify an existing one.
3. To tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
4. To identify and address bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end systems and optimize application performance / responsiveness through code improvements.
5. To communicate effectively with team members , collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
