Job description-Config Developer (Java)Role: Java DeveloperLocation: HyderabadYears of experience: 5 yearsQualificationsAround 5+ years of experience with software engineeringExperience with modern Java frameworksKnowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.Exposure to security best practices for scripting and tool configuration development.Strong exposure on testing and troubleshootingStrong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly in cross-functional teams.Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Java scripting and applications.Familiarity with SQLFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Knowledge of logging frameworks (e.g., SLF4J, Log4J) and monitoring tools.Strong understanding of version control branching strategies (GitFlow, etc.).Key Responsibilities:Effective stakeholder management.Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a data-driven, analytical approach to ensuring customer success.Populate tooling configuration settings into templates based on defined policies (using a configuration defaults sheet).Secure necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.Address and resolve stakeholder concerns by making adjustments to configurations or escalating issues for policy review.Code tooling configurations in Java within the defined eco system.Conduct thorough unit tests within the Java environment to ensure technical adherence.Perform rigorous testing in the SPG test environment to verify compliance with specifications.Skilled in managing complex projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines, while adhering to Standard operating procedures (SOPs), with a strong focus on process and organization.Takes a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and resolving them.Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and ensures high-quality results are achieved.Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to take on additional roles as needed, especially during development lulls when staffing is full-time within this workflow.Java Script: 5/5React JS: 5/5Microservices: 3/5Python: 4/5
