Job Summary

Define current-state and transition architecture for enterprise .NET and Java applications, reverse-engineer and modernize existing applications, drive AI-assisted engineering practices, lead application-side discovery, analyze integration touchpoints, identify risks and dependencies, guide engineering teams, ensure architecture traceability, and support cross-cutting architecture concerns.

Key Responsibilities

Define current-state and transition architecture for enterprise .NET (C#, .NET Core, Web API) and Java applications.
Reverse-engineer existing .NET and Java applications.
Reconstruct architecture, identify integration patterns, data-access patterns, and hidden technical debt.
Drive AI-assisted engineering practices using Fidelity-approved Copilot and LLM tooling for code understanding, dependency inference, and technical documentation.
Lead application-side discovery for the web-services track.
Identify service clients, data-access layers, direct Sybase connections, and consumption patterns.
Analyze integration touchpoints from the application side, including API contracts, connection strings, adapters, and shared-library usage impacted by database and service changes.
Identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across the .NET and Java estate.
Quantify remediation effort for consuming applications.
Guide developers, integration engineers, and GenAI engineers on coding standards, design patterns, and Copilot-assisted workflows.
Ensure architecture outputs are traceable, evidence-backed, and defensible.
Support the Solution Architect on non-functional requirements, resilience, observability, and technical decision records.

Maximum Salary (US):  198000
Minimum Salary (US):  114000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
