Position: Drupal Tester
Experience: 3-8 Years
Location: Offshore

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drupal Tester to validate and ensure the quality, performance, security, and usability of Drupal-based web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in testing Drupal CMS websites, creating test cases, executing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with development and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Drupal websites and applications.
  • Validate Drupal content types, workflows, permissions, user roles, menus, views, forms, and custom modules.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
  • Conduct cross-browser, responsive, accessibility (WCAG), and mobile testing.
  • Validate Drupal upgrades, patches, migrations, and deployment releases.
  • Test integrations with third-party applications, APIs, SSO, and external systems.
  • Perform SEO validation, content verification, and site usability testing.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in testing Drupal 8/9/10/11 applications.
  • Good understanding of Drupal CMS architecture, content management, roles, permissions, and workflows.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or ALM.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Experience in browser compatibility and responsive design testing.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Drupal-specific testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1/Section 508).
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Drupal certification is an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Drupal migrations and site upgrades.
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms (Azure, AWS, Acquia).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
