Role Summary
The ALM Solution Architect (Codebeamer) is responsible for end‑to‑end ALM solution design, architecture, and governance using PTC Codebeamer. This role works closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT to define ALM strategy, process models, data architecture, and integrations, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with industry standards.
The architect acts as the technical and functional authority for Codebeamer implementations, upgrades, and transformations.
Key Responsibilities
ALM Architecture & Solution Design
Define end‑to‑end ALM architecture using PTC Codebeamer, aligned with customer engineering and delivery processes.
Design Codebeamer trackers, workflows, lifecycles, traceability models, and governance frameworks.
Define solution blueprint covering requirements, change, test, release, and compliance management.

Codebeamer Configuration & Customization
Lead advanced configuration and customization of Codebeamer, including tracker schemas, workflows, permissions, reports, and dashboards.
Ensure maximum utilization of out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) features with minimal customizations.
Provide architectural guidance for Java / scripting‑based extensions where required.
Integration & Toolchain Strategy
Define and govern integrations between Codebeamer and other ALM / PLM / MBSE tools (e.g., Windchill, Polarion, JIRA, EA).
Ensure end‑to‑end traceability across toolchain from requirements to verification.

Compliance & Industry Standards
Ensure ALM solution compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, INCOSE, DO‑178C, or domain‑specific standards as applicable.
Support audits, assessments, and compliance reporting using Codebeamer artifacts.
Technical Leadership & Governance
Act as technical escalation point for L3 issues and complex architectural challenges.
Define ALM governance, best practices, and standards for multi‑project environments.
Mentor ALM consultants, business analysts, and developers.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
Expert‑level knowledge of PTC Codebeamer ALM
Strong experience in ALM solution architecture and large‑scale implementations
Deep understanding of Requirements, Test, Change, and Release Management
Experience with automotive / regulated domains
Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
Certifications (Good to Have)
PTC Codebeamer certifications
ASPICE / Functional Safety certifications

4. To review architecture and design deliverables and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices ,architectural standards simultaneously establish and enforce governance /compliance measures.
5. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated
6. To submit Whitepapers, participate in industry forums and file Patents
