Job Description – Strategy Architect / Senior Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) Architect / Senior Consultant to support a large-scale migration initiative involving the migration of Strategy schemas and metadata from Snowflake to Google BigQuery. The consultant will play a key role in architecture design, migration planning, object analysis, performance optimization, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design and lead Strategy architecture solutions for enterprise analytics environments.
•    Analyze existing Strategy metadata, schemas, reports, and objects for migration readiness.
•    Support migration activities from Snowflake to Google BigQuery from the Strategy platform perspective.
•    Configure and optimize Strategy schemas, attributes, facts, transformations, and VLDB settings.
•    Analyze system objects and identify dependencies and optimization opportunities.
•    Develop automation scripts using Python and REST APIs where required.
•    Define and execute testing strategies for migration validation and performance benchmarking.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams.
•    Manage and track deliverables through Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira.
•    Provide technical guidance and best practices for Strategy platform implementation.
Mandatory Skills
•    8+ years of experience in Strategy (MicroStrategy) development and architecture.
•    Strong hands-on experience in Strategy Architecture, Metadata, Schema Objects, and VLDB configurations.
•    Experience with Strategy migrations, upgrades, or cloud transformation projects.
•    Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
•    Experience with Snowflake and/or Google BigQuery.
•    Hands-on experience with Python scripting and Strategy REST APIs.
•    Experience with migration testing, validation, and performance tuning.
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
Preferred Skills
•    Prior experience in Strategy schema migration projects.
•    Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge.
•    Experience with Strategy Workstation and Administration.
•    Strategy certifications.
•    Exposure to cloud data migration programs and modernization initiatives.
