Job Summary

Ariba Implementation Lead
Experience: 12+ years; 5+ end-to-end Ariba full suite implementations across Globe. Should have proven experience to lead the process design on SAP Ariba.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather Requirement, perform fit-gap analysis and develop robust design.
• Deliver workshop and prepare required documentations as per project guidelines.
• Lead the design and manage the stakeholders to get the timely sign off on the best practices processes design for SAP Ariba full suite applications.
• Configure contract workspaces, clause libraries, templates, playbooks and term variants; set up meta-data taxonomy.
• Design approval flows (legal, finance) with thresholds; implement e-signature and versioning; define archive/retention.
• Map ERP integrations: vendor/GL/CC, contract reference on PO, price/term visibility; data migration for legacy contracts.
• Set up obligation tracking, alerts and renewals; define KPIs for contract compliance and cycle time.
• Collaborate with Supplier Risk to embed risk scores and mitigations within contracting checkpoints.
• Design registration and qualification workflows; build modular questionnaires (tax, bank, ESG, InfoSec, sanctions).
• Integrate Workday org data for request/approval routing; align vendor master with S/4 (BP model).
• Configure risk rules/thresholds and continuous monitoring; set up periodic review cadence and remediation playbooks.
• Define GDPR-compliant consent, data retention and right-to-be-forgotten processes.
• Establish supplier performance scorecards and corrective action plans linked to category strategies.
• Create buying channels (punchout/hosted), smart forms, rules and help content; enable preferred content surfacing.
• Ariba buying configurations, including approval flows, ICM configurations, parameters
• Well-versed with Ariba master data and related configuration.
• Should be able to support mappings for the Ariba interfaces.
• Should be able to drive the discussions on Ariba spend control tower and category management.

• Ariba full suite process knowledge including Risk, Category Management, spend control tower, Intake management, Next-Gen Ariba
• Integrations with SAP S/4HANA and HR data with workday
• Source to Pay process expertise, including category, supplier and catalog management.

• Ariba Sourcing & Contracts configuration, e-Sign (DocuSign/Adobe), integration mapping to S/4 via CIG.
• Data migration (extract/classify/load) for legacy contracts.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
