Senior Group Technical Architect

Job Summary

  • 15 to 20 years’ experience in architecture role
  • 10 + Experience in Banking and Financial industry preferably payments area
  • Proficiency and Past work experience in blockchain technology, encryption, or distributed peer-to-peer systems.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience in multiple different programming languages and technology architectures
  • Experience with open-source development (i.e. the Linux operating system/ Apache Web server application) – Nice to have
  • Knowledge and experience of public cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure): core networking/VPC, IAM and security controls, service-to-service connectivity, managed data/streaming services, observability and cost governance/FinOps. 
  • Cloud & engineering foundations: CI/CD, Infrastructure-as- code, observability, reliability engineering, performance engineering and cost governance. 
  • Critical thinker with excellent judgment and strong initiative
  • Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Java Full stack development approach 
  • Excitement for and passion around disruption, technological change

Solution Design , Architectural Principles , Design ,Presenting the solution , cloud resource utilisation and allocation , Java fullstack , microservices architecture
