Job Summary
Responsibilities – SAP BTP ArchitectDefine and own the end-to-end SAP BTP architecture for a new BTP implementation project, establishing the foundational application, integration, security, and platform design.Lead architecture and solution design workshops with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear target-state BTP solution architecture.Architect cloud‑native applications using SAP CAP (Node.js), ensuring scalability, performance, resilience, and alignment with SAP BTP reference architectures from day one.Define and standardize SAP Build (Build Code, Build Process Automation and Build Work Zone) patterns for UI development, enabling rapid delivery while ensuring enterprise-grade architecture and governance.Design API‑first and integration architectures using OData/REST and SAP BTP Integration Suite to connect SAP and non-SAP systems as part of the core solution landscape.Establish Clean Core–aligned principles upfront, ensuring the new solution is inherently side‑by‑side by design and future‑ready for S/4HANA consumption.Define and govern security, identity, and authorization architecture on SAP BTP, aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements.Set up development standards, CI/CD strategies, transport models, and lifecycle management for BTP applications using SAP Business Application Studio.Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Platform teams to establish reusable frameworks, common services, and operating models for the BTP solution.Act as the design authority for the implementation, reviewing solution designs, guiding delivery teams, and proactively managing architectural risks.Create and institutionalize reference architectures, best practices, and design guidelines for SAP BTP, CAP, and SAP Build to support long-term platform adoption.Skill SetFrontend: SAP Build Apps, Build Code, Build Process Automation, Joule for developers, Build Work Zone, Fiori and Fiori elements (BTP-based), CDS modelling, SAPUI5.Backend: SAP CAP (Node.js), cloud-native service designIntegration: SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management)APIs: OData and REST-based API architecture and governancePlatform: SAP BTP application development, security, and lifecycle managementArchitecture: Clean Core, BTP reference architectureWe Prefer:Formal qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.12+ years of overall SAP experience, with strong focus on SAP BTP architecture and cloud-based solution design.Proven experience in SAP CAP–based application development (Node.js) and SAP BTP application development using SAP Build (Code).Strong ability to drive Clean Core modernization, guiding teams and partners to reduce core customizations and adopt side-by-side extensibility on BTP.Experience designing scalable, modular, and future ready cloud architectures based on business requirements.Define and govern architecture standards, development guidelines, and quality best practices across BTP developments.Collaborate closely with cross functional teams and mentor development teams across multiple delivery streams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including system analysis, root cause identification, and issue resolution.Tools:Platform & Quality: SAP BTP tools for application lifecycle management and governanceIntegration & APIs: SAP Integration Suite, API ManagementDevelopment Environment: SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Build (Build Code, Build Process Automation & Work Zone)ALM & Delivery: SAP Cloud ALM (preferred)DevOps: Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines for BTP applicationsRequired Additional Skills:SAP UI5, Fiori and Fiori Elements, CDS development, XSUAA configurationJavaScript, Node.js.

2. To bridge the gap between client needs and business goals by gathering requirements, crafting innovative solutions with deep domain/technology expertise, and driving successful implementations that propel strategic initiatives.
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To review architecture and design deliverables and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices ,architectural standards simultaneously establish and enforce governance /compliance measures.
5. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated
6. To submit Whitepapers, participate in industry forums and file Patents
