Job Summary
| "The Cerner Pharmacy Application Support Analyst (PharmNet Specialist) is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the Cerner PharmNet module to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant medication management across healthcare systems. The role involves troubleshooting issues, collaborating with pharmacy and clinical teams, managing formulary and medication data, and ensuring smooth pharmacy workflows within the Cerner Millennium EHR ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Application Support & Troubleshooting Provide expert-level support for Cerner PharmNet, resolving break/fix issues, workflow errors, and medication management problems across CERT and PROD environments. Troubleshoot Rx workflows (e.g., pharmacy orders, robot orders, charges, cart-fill, automated dispensing cabinet bin loads/unloads). Respond to incidents and service requests promptly while meeting defined SLAs. 2. Integration & Interface Support Work closely with integration teams to support Rx workflow interfaces, including HL7 and FHIR‑based data flows. Support interoperability with external pharmacy systems (e.g., Omnicell, Pyxis, McKesson Rx) and other Cerner modules like PowerChart and RxStation. 3. Documentation Create and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, and workflow documentation for ongoing education. 4. Required Qualifications & Experience 3+ years hands‑on experience with Cerner PharmNet. Strong understanding of medication workflows, pharmacy operations, and medication safety requirements. Technical skills in Cerner Millennium, PharmNet, PowerChart, and related medication management tools. Proficiency with HL7 (preferred) and FHIR (preferred). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills." |
