Job Summary
You will be responsible for install, maintain, support/troubleshooting predominantly Oracle products and help our customers making best use of the technology Provide primary support for critical, complex production Oracle databases running financial applications. Perform Oracle Systems Database Administration across multiple Oracle database environments and ensure content
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide advanced technical support by performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions for complex incidents involving Oracle Administration and PostgreSQL, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Collaborate with support teams to resolve complex tickets within agreed SLAs, ensuring seamless operations and a strong security posture across various database environments.
3. Conduct knowledge base updates and manage documentation to improve operational efficiency and facilitate training for new analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Coach and mentor analysts to enhance their skills in troubleshooting and incident resolution, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
5. Strive for positive customer experiences by achieving First Call Resolution targets, minimizing rejected resolutions and case reopens, and proactively addressing potential security threats.
6. HandsOn experience on HA, DR deployment on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
7. Database Migration and Optimization expertise on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
8. Database Performance management on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
9. Database Consolidation and Capacity management (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)
Skill Requirements
- Ideally Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with more than 12 years’ experience with Oracle. Experience should include installation, configuration, patching, DB design, capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
- Operating system experience in Linux.
- Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump, OEM).
- Oracle Database Partitioning.
- Architecture design principles.
- Good problem solver, performance tuning skill set, focused and dedicated developer with ability to work on your own as well as with a team.
- Hands on experience with DB standards and end user applications-translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology.
- Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (19C).
- Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and person must take ownership for any activities.
- Hands on Experience with Oracle Database encryption and Oracle Database masking.
- Working experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its database.
