Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant

Job Summary

5-8 years of Experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant with strong functional understanding across Core HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Learning, and Compensation modules. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with solid HR domain knowledge to design, build, integrate, and support HCM solutions that align with business needs. This role requires hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud technical components, fast-paced problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Technical Development & Integration

Develop and support HCM Extracts, BIP Reports, OTBI analysis, Fast Formulas, and HDL/Spreadsheet Data Loader scripts.
Build and maintain integrations using OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces.
Configure HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HSDL for mass data uploads.
Develop custom BIP templates, reports, dashboards, and automated notifications.
Support inbound/outbound interfaces between HCM Cloud and other vendors.
Configuration changes for Redwood through VB Studio

Functional & Domain Expertise

Provide functional and technical support across Core HR, Global HR setup, Workforce Structures, and worker life cycle processes.
Decent understanding of Payroll flows, costing, elements, balance definitions, and payroll fast formulas.
Hands-on experience with Recruitment (ORC) processes including requisition management, candidate life cycle, and onboarding.
Knowledge of Learning setups, course/offerings management, approvals, and learning assignments.
Decent understanding of Compensation cycles, workforce compensation plans, budgets, and integration with Core HR.
 

Required Skills & Qualifications

7-9 years of experience as Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant.
Strong hands-on experience in:
HCM Extracts
OTBI & BI Publisher
Fast Formulas (Payroll, Compensation, Absence, Benefits)
HDL/HSDL
OIC / Integrations
REST/SOAP APIs
Good functional knowledge of Core HR, Payroll, Recruitment (ORC), Learning, and Compensation.
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and XML skills.
Experience with implementation, enhancements, and production support projects.
Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements for oracle hcm cloud implementation.
2. Design and configure oracle hcm cloud modules based on client needs.
3. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and provide postimplementation support.
4. Ensure alignment of oracle hcm cloud solutions with industry best practices and client goals.
5. Train end-users on oracle hcm cloud functionalities and features.
6. Work closely within team to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

Skill Requirements

1. In-depth knowledge of oracle hcm cloud modules such as core hr, absence management, compensation, talent management, and payroll.
2. Strong understanding of hcm processes and best practices to drive effective solution implementations.
3. Proficient in oracle hcm cloud configurations, data migration, and system integrations.
4. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex hcm challenges.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.

Other Requirements

1.Oracle HCM Cloud certification is preferred.
