Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Application Support – Provide L2 support for Oracle Retail apps (XStore POS, SIOCS, MFCS, RPCS, RESA, XOCS, RICS); perform basic configuration and routine maintenance.
- Issue Troubleshooting – Investigate POS, inventory, pricing, and merchandising issues; analyze logs, run SQL queries, and escalate complex problems to L3.
- Integration & Batch Monitoring – Monitor REST/SOAP integrations, XML/JSON payloads, RIB messages, and batch processes; perform initial triage.
- Deployments Assistance – Support deployments, patches, and store rollouts by executing runbooks and validating post‑deployment checks.
- Collaboration & Documentation – Work with cross‑functional teams and vendors; maintain incident notes, knowledge base articles, and configuration docs.
Required Skills:
• 1-4 yrs of experience in similar applications
• Experience with Oracle Retail Suite modules (any of XStore, MFCS, RPCS, RESA, RICS, SIOCS)
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON
• Basic Oracle SQL / PL/SQL for troubleshooting
• Familiarity with RIB, middleware concepts, and WebLogic log review
• Knowledge of retail workflows: POS, pricing, inventory
• Awareness of security standards (PCI DSS, SSL/TLS)
