Senior Oracle PL/SQL Technical Lead

Job Summary

  • Minimum 6-9 years of experience and technical expertise in Oracle PL SQL. 
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Database (12c/19c/21c) architecture 
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP).
  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with AWR, ADDM, and performance diagnostics
  • Excellent design and technical skills with Oracle PLSQL and SQL Development (including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers)  
  • Proficiency in data modeling and database design 
  • Proficiency in XML Publisher Reports generation
  • Excellent understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them 
  • Expertise in the Interfaces, conversion and data migration between different Oracle ERP modules, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce and 3rd party applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces etc.) 
  • Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management. 
  • Experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines for database changes and schema deployments
  • Support migrations from on-prem Oracle databases to OCI ATP.
  • Perform schema/data migration using Data Pump, OCI tools, or GoldenGate (where applicable).
  • Assist in database modernization initiatives and cloud cost optimization.
  • Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives 
  • Experience with global implementations of Oracle database-based solutions 
  • Work closely with application teams, cloud infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in architectural reviews and provide database best-practice recommendation

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in oracle pl/sql programming and development.
2. Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and oracle database architecture.
3. Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and database design.
4. Good understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead technical teams.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
8. Certification in oracle pl/sql is preferred but not mandatory.

Other Requirements

1.Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle PL/SQL is a plus.
