Role: Business Operations Analyst – Wealth Management

Role Summary
The role will focus on operational execution across investment products, account servicing, and transaction processing, ensuring high accuracy, compliance, and client service excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain exposure to wealth management operations, financial products, and process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of wealth management transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers
- Process trade instructions and ensure accurate recording in internal systems
- Validate transaction details, pricing, and settlement requirements
- Assist in account onboarding, KYC verification, and documentation checks
- Maintain and update client records in line with regulatory standards
- Handle servicing requests including account updates, portfolio changes, and reporting
- Perform daily/periodic reconciliation of transactions, positions, and cash balances
- Prepare operational MIS reports and dashboards
- Identify discrepancies and support resolution within defined timelines
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, advisors, custodian teams, and operations units
- Respond to internal and external queries related to transactions and accounts
- Ensure seamless coordination across front, middle, and back-office teams
- Adhere to SOPs and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and automation
- Support digital transformation initiatives within wealth operations
- Ensure adherence to KYC/AML regulations, compliance frameworks, and audit requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and transaction data
- Escalate risks, breaches, or discrepancies proactively
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in:
- Wealth Management / Investment Operations (preferred)
- OR BFSI / financial services operations
Core Skills
- Basic understanding of financial products (mutual funds, equities, bonds preferred)
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to KYC/AML processes and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle and investment operations
- Experience in working with financial systems or CRM platforms
