Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have worked on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and AX implementation projects and will have good knowledge of implementation lifecycles from end-to-end. This person will be a confident communicator and a good co-ordinator whilst being able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.  They will have experience of managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and understand business processes and prepare detailed business requirements and process maps 

Analyse client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients’ requirement and objectives 

Convert Customer requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents 

Configure, test, and demonstrate all aspects and processes within D365 Finance. 

Configure, test, and demonstrate non-stocked aspects and processes of D365 SCM. 

Participate in handling System Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, End User Training, UAT, Cutover and Go Live 

Participate in the definition and configuration of data migration for the respective modules and understanding the underlying entities that make up the Finance and non-stocked SCM modules. 

Participate in the development of functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, perform SIT testing 

Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during iterations 

Design and develop D365 FSCM solutions for clients making best use of Standard functionality in each respective module 

Work closely with clients and other team members to define, design, and align the business application to the business requirements 

Manage and deliver small projects independently and can work productively un-monitored 

Lead other consultants in delivering according to client expectations; take ownership of successful completion of deliverables and projects 

Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions 

Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans; take personal ownership of the success of deliverables and projects 

Provide weekly status reporting to Solution Architect, Technical Architect, and Project Management 

Skill Requirements

Solid ERP and preferably D365FSCM and AX 2012 functional experience 

Experience working on key Finance module areas, such as: General Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash and Bank, Tax, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Project Management & Accounting and Procurement and Sourcing etc. 

Experience on at least 3-4 end to end implementation projects and awareness typical implementation methodologies for Dynamics projects 

Excellent communication skills, along with good analysis and documentation skills 

A positive and can-do approach 

Experience working in a collaborative environment 

Exhibit ‘HCLTech’ Guiding Principles 

Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio 

Ability to work remotely and on customer site; regular travel expected 

Appropriate Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications 

Experience using DevOps for tracking deliverables, risks, and issues 

Have led a team to deliver a project module solution and deliverable 
                                                                      

Other Requirements

  • MBA /M. Com/ B. Com / B.Tech / B.E or any other equivalent graduation from a reputed university. 

  • Should have good hands-on experience on Dynamics AX 2012, Dynamics 365 FSCM and relevant finance domain expertise along with SCM would be preferable.
