Job Summary
Lead geoscience interpretation and reservoir evaluation using Petrel/Kingdom-class workflows, integrating seismic, geology, petrophysics and reservoir inputs to support prospect generation, development targeting and asset decisions. This version reflects market postings that emphasize seismic interpretation, petroleum-system assessment, geologic/geophysical integration and technical presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
| Own end-to-end seismic interpretation workflows including faults, horizons, attributes and well-to-seismic tie validation. Provide geological conditioning inputs for geomodelling and reservoir characterization. Review uncertainty propagation into reservoir models and simulation inputs. Guide interpreters and data teams on fit-for-purpose subsurface datasets. Support client discussions, technical reviews and quality assurance for subsurface deliverables. Added stronger emphasis on prospect generation, regional mapping, technical presentations, and integration of geologic, geophysical and petrophysical data. |
Skill Requirements
Petrel, DS 360. DELFI, strong petroleum data management skills. End to end Seismic interpretation (faults, horizons, attributes), geomodelling and geological conditioning, rock physics & inversion concepts, well‑to‑seismic tie understanding, uncertainty propagation into reservoir characterization and simulation inputs. Understands how subsurface interpretations actually influence development and investment decisions.
