Define secure, scalable and business-aligned AI architecture for the transformation program, including generative AI, machine learning, data integration and responsible-AI controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Shape the AI roadmap and identify high-value use cases across program delivery, operations and business processes.
• Design reference architectures for generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, machine learning and intelligent automation.
• Define data, model, integration, observability, security, privacy and responsible-AI requirements.
• Select appropriate cloud, model, vector, orchestration and API technologies and guide proof-of-concept decisions.
• Establish design standards for prompt management, grounding, evaluation, guardrails, human oversight and lifecycle management.
• Partner with SAP, data, security, legal and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise processes.
• Review technical designs, manage architecture risks and support production readiness and scaling.
• Mentor developers and communicate architecture choices and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
• Experience with SAP Business AI, Joule, BTP AI services or Datasphere.
• Cloud or AI architecture certification.
• Experience deploying AI in regulated enterprise environments.
• Certifications remain preferred only until the capability owner confirms otherwise.
