Key Responsibilities
| The SAP O2C Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end Order to Cash processes, ensuring smooth execution from order creation to revenue realization. The role involves configuring SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) modules, optimizing business processes, and ensuring seamless integration with finance, logistics, and customer operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze, design, and implement Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in SAP Configure and support SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) modules Manage end-to-end process: Order Management Pricing & Billing Delivery & Shipping Invoicing & Revenue Recognition Configure pricing procedures, tax determination, and billing processes Work on sales order processing, delivery creation, and invoice generation Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions Ensure integration with: FICO (Finance) MM (Materials Management) Manage credit management and dispute handling processes Support data migration, master data setup (customer, pricing) Handle interfaces with external systems (EDI, APIs, IDOCs) Provide production support and resolve issues Prepare functional specs, test cases, and documentation Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Experience in: Pricing configuration Billing & invoicing Output determination Credit management Knowledge of: IDOCs, EDI, interfaces SAP S/4HANA or ECC Exposure to FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) is a plus Functional Skills Strong knowledge of O2C lifecycle: Lead to Order Order Fulfillment Billing & Collections Understanding of: Customer master data Sales org structure Delivery & logistics processes Experience in handling disputes, returns, and credit notes Experience Requirements 5–10 years of SAP experience Minimum 3+ years in SAP SD / O2C domain Experience in implementations and support projects Preferred Qualifications SAP SD Certification Experience with S/4HANA transformations Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology Knowledge of Revenue Accounting & IFRS compliance Soft Skills Strong communication & stakeholder management Analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to handle client interactions independently Attention to detail and process orientation Typical Project Activities O2C process transformation during S/4HANA migration Pricing and billing redesign Credit management optimization Integration with third-party systems (logistics/payment gateways) |
