Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead overall test governance for large-scale engagements. The role will focus on driving governance excellence, structured reporting, continuous improvement, and engagement optimization to ensure high-quality delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall Test Governance
Establish and drive test governance frameworks, standards, and KPIs across engagements
Ensure adherence to defined QA processes, compliance guidelines, and delivery metrics
Monitor SLA/KPI performance and provide governance oversight for quality outcomes
Act as the primary point of contact for QA governance across stakeholders
2. Business Reviews
Conduct periodic business review meetings with stakeholders and leadership
Present quality metrics, delivery performance, risks, and mitigation plans
Provide insights on testing maturity, trends, and opportunities for improvement
Align QA outcomes with business objectives and customer expectations
3. Continuous Improvement Plan
Define and execute continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes
Identify gaps through maturity assessments, audits, and performance metrics
Drive innovation in test practices, tools, and frameworks
Track improvement benefits and ensure measurable impact on quality and efficiency
4. Executive Status Reporting
Prepare and present executive-level status reports highlighting:
Quality metrics and KPIs
Risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Release readiness and quality outlook
Provide concise dashboards and insights for senior leadership decision-making
5. Monthly Status Reporting
Publish detailed monthly status reports covering:
Test progress and execution metrics
Defect trends and quality indicators
SLA adherence and risk tracking
Ensure timely communication to all stakeholders
6. Engagement Optimization Plan
Develop and drive engagement optimization strategies to improve:
Resource utilization
Delivery efficiency
Cost optimization
Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and governance enhancements
Collaborate with delivery and business teams to maximize value realization
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in test governance and QA leadership
Expertise in metrics-driven reporting and stakeholder management
Experience in executive presentations and business reviews
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Agile/DevOps and QA best practices
Experience
10+ years in Quality Engineering / Testing
4+ years in Test Management / Governance roles
