Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Google Cloud Platform)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale cloud initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of cloud migrations, application modernization, and data infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of deep technical understanding of GCP services and expert-level project management discipline.

• Project Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of GCP-based projects (migrations, serverless development, or data warehousing) from discovery to Go-Live.
• Technical Liaison: Translate complex technical requirements into actionable project milestones. Act as the primary bridge between GCP Architects, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Governance & Delivery: Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Proactively identify technical bottlenecks and drive mitigation strategies.
• GCP Best Practices: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to the Google Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected principles.
• Stakeholder Management: Provide transparent reporting on project health, risks, and financial burn rates (FinOps) to senior leadership.
• Change Management: Manage CI/CD pipelines deployment schedules and ensure smooth operational handovers.
Required Technical Skills
• GCP Ecosystem: Strong familiarity with core services such as Compute Engine, GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
• Cloud Migration: Experience with migration strategies (6 Rs) and tools like Migrate for Anthos or Cloud Data Transfer.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Understanding of Terraform or Deployment Manager in a project lifecycle.
• Methodologies: Mastery of Agile/Scrum (Jira/Confluence) and experience managing DevOps-centric delivery teams

Qualifications
• Experience: 12+ years in Technical Project Management, with at least 2+ years dedicated to GCP environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications (Highly Preferred): * Google Professional Cloud Project Manager
o Google Professional Cloud Architect
o PMP or Prince2 Certification
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical "debt" and cloud costs to non-technical stakeholders.
