Job Summary

1.1.1.  Role & Responsibilities
•    Agreeing project objectives
•    Finding out what the client wants to achieve 
•    Agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed 
•    Lead project planning, execution, and delivery.
•    Making sure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget 
•    Representing the client's interest
•    Coordinate cross-functional teams.
•    Providing independent advice on the management of projects
•    Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of the project 
•    Selecting and leading a project team 
•    Organising the various professional people working on a project
•    Risk assessment
•    Making sure that all the objectives of the project are met
•    Making sure the quality standards are met
•    Using the latest IT to keep track of people and progress
•    Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
•    Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services 
•    Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
•    Accounting, costing and billing
•    Reporting regularly on progress to all project stakeholders (clients, senior managers) and MTN CI CODIR.
1.1.2.  Required Skills & Competencies
•    Proven experience in managing complex projects (IT, RAN & Microwave, FTTH & FO, Facilities
•    Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
•    Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
•    Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
•    Risk management and mitigation planning.
•    Budgeting and resource planning.
•    Strong communication and reporting skills.
•    PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
•    Capabilities to fluently speak and understand French; good English command would be a plus
