(Human Factors / Comfort Studies)

Role Overview

We are seeking User Study Research Proctors to support human‑factors and comfort‑focused user studies for wearable and consumer devices.

This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency in execution, and respect for protocol discipline in high‑quality research environments.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑lab, proctored user study sessions following defined HF research protocols
• Support both qualitative and quantitative data collection related to fit, comfort, and usability
• Ensure accurate and complete session documentation and data capture
• Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency across sessions
• Flag anomalies, deviations, or participant issues promptly
• Collaborate closely with study leads and fellow proctors to ensure consistent execution
• Participate in training, shadowing, and continuous improvement activities

Skill Requirements

Required / Desired Background

• Prior experience supporting user studies, usability testing, or HF research
• Strong attention to detail and comfort following structured procedures
• Ability to interact professionally with study participants in a lab setting

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Background or coursework in Human Factors, Psychology, Ergonomics, or related disciplines

• Experience with wearable devices, consumer electronics, or physical product testing
• Experience working with Apple devices, Apple black/ Apple Ultra experience preferred
• Exposure to large‑scale or repeated study execution
• Prior experience of Human Factors/ Usability Engineering in Medical Devices is a plus
