Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master (Manager level) with strong exposure to API-based projects. The candidate will lead Agile teams, drive sprint execution, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality API solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams working on API development projects
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Ensure smooth execution and delivery of API-based applications/services
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders for backlog prioritization
- Identify and remove impediments/blockers impacting the team
- Drive continuous improvement and Agile best practices within the team
- Track and report project progress, sprint metrics, and delivery status
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Support release planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Coach
- Hands-on exposure to API development projects (REST/SOAP)
- Good understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple teams or large-scale Agile projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- SAFe Scrum Master / SAFe Agilist
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
