Job Summary

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Creo Developer to support engineering automation, CAD customization, and PLM integration initiatives within the Solar Engineering organization. This role will develop custom automation solutions for both PTC Creo Parametric.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PTC Creo PRO/TOOLKIT.

Creo Customization & Automation

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support custom automation solutions using PTC Creo PRO/TOOLKIT APIs.
  • Create and maintain Creo customization applications that improve engineering productivity and design consistency.
  • Develop tools for CAD model creation, validation, data extraction, drawing/assembly support, and design standardization.
  • Support Creo user interface and workflow customizations, including optional exposure to Creo VB API or J-Link.

Skill Requirements

Creo Development:
PRO/TOOLKIT API development; Creo modeling fundamentals; assemblies, drawings, and design workflows

Other Requirements

  • Windchill customization, Java-based Windchill development, and CAD/PDM integration experience.
  • Teamcenter ITK development and BMIDE configuration/customization experience.
  • Creo VB API, J-Link, or additional Creo customization approaches.
