Job Summary
Scania is running a large global transformation to harmonise processes and systems across 35–40 countries, with Dynamics 365 as the ERP backbone. Microsoft's Industry Solution Delivery (ISD) team is the prime partner for year one. Bjorn needs a senior tandem project manager to interface between Scania and Microsoft before the engagement kicks off in August.
Role requirements
- Senior project or programme manager — must have run large transformation programmes before
- Dynamics 365 knowledge preferred; strong general ERP experience acceptable
- High EQ combined with a "pushy in a nice way" personality — drives delivery without creating alienation
- Strong stakeholder management; will present status, risks, and mitigations to top management steering group
- Scania/automotive background is a nice-to-have, not a requirement
Key Responsibilities
Programme context
- 35–40 countries, ~35,000 end users, ~70 Microsoft consultants plus hundreds in Scania's own product teams
- Four stream leads to collaborate with daily: Finance/Procurement, Sales, Aftersales delivery, and Service/Parts
- Shift from organic rollout to big-bang approach at a significantly higher pace
- Will report into the PMO (Programme Management Office) once the internal PMO lead joins in August

Logistics
- Start date: 10 Aug (preferred) — absolute latest 17 Aug
- Contract length: 15 months (extension possible)
- On-site/Stockholm: minimum 3 days/week in office (autumn); may move to 5 days/week later
- Travel: ~once a month, 2–4 days, to pilot markets — Breda (NL), Koblenz (DE), Warsaw (PL), and Södertälje (SE)
- Hiring deadline: before week 28
