Role: Technical Manager
Job Description:
Responsible for leading technical teams, managing end‑to‑end delivery of projects, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. This role requires strong hands‑on technical knowledge combined with leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery ownership. Primarily work on transition from J&J platform to DePuy platform. Will involve vetting a lot of apps, checking if they are feasible to new platform, identify the transitional requirements, manage the transition etc
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Delivery Management
- Lead and manage multiple IT projects across application development, support, or transformation programs
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards
- Review solution designs, architecture, and technical decisions to ensure scalability and security
- Guide teams through SDLC - Agile/Scrum
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor technical leads, developers, testers, and support engineers
- Allocate resources effectively and align skillsets to project demands
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and capability development for team members
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for business stakeholders and clients
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to leadership
Governance & Process
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards, best practices, and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and engineering practices
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests effectively.
Key Responsibilities
2. Serve as the scrum master, facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring adherence to scrum principles
3. Implement and oversee change management processes to effectively manage project scope changes
4. Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address project risks
6. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution
7. Monitor and report on project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize project delivery
Skill Requirements
2. In-depth knowledge of project management change management principles and methodologies
3. Proficient in agile methodology, with the ability to effectively apply agile practices in project management
4. Strong communication and leadership skills to guide project teams and collaborate with stakeholders
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to address project challenges effectively
6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing project requirements
