Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Management Consultant to lead and manage complex Cyber Security initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering security transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and organizational security strategies.
The role requires strong expertise in cybersecurity domains, stakeholder management, risk governance, budget management, and delivery of large-scale security projects within agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management Lead end-to-end delivery of Cyber Security projects and programs. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets. Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. Cyber Security Governance Manage security initiatives related to: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Security Operations Center (SOC) Vulnerability Management Privileged Access Management (PAM) Cloud Security Network Security Data Protection and Encryption Endpoint Security Security Compliance & Audits Ensure adherence to organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary interface between business, security teams, vendors, and executive leadership. Conduct steering committee meetings and executive-level status reporting. Facilitate decision-making and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Drive collaboration across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Risk & Compliance Management Identify cybersecurity risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support audit and compliance initiatives aligned with standards such as: ISO 27001 NIST Cybersecurity Framework CIS Controls GDPR SOC 2 PCI-DSS Ensure all project deliverables meet security and compliance requirements. Vendor & Financial Management Manage third-party vendors, contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service delivery. Track project financials, budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization. Drive cost optimization while maintaining security and operational objectives. Reporting & Leadership Prepare and present executive dashboards, KPIs, and project status reports. Mentor project managers and project teams. Contribute to PMO processes, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. 10+ years of project/program management experience. Minimum 5+ years of experience managing Cyber Security initiatives. Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and governance models. Experience managing enterprise-scale security transformation programs. Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
