Data Products Integrator
Role Purpose
The Data Products Integrator is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of Data Products across the Markets Platform ecosystem. The role acts as the connective tissue between Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Data Producers, Data Consumers, Governance teams, Risk, Architecture and Platform teams.
The Integrator ensures that Data Product initiatives are sequenced, coordinated, governed and implemented safely, enabling Product Owners and Feature Teams to focus on delivering value whilst ensuring cross-lab dependencies, risks and implementation activities are proactively managed. This aligns with the established Integrator role remit of managing dependencies, interlocking plans and supporting the route to live.
Key Responsibilities
Data Product Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate delivery of Data Products across multiple feature teams and platforms.
- Work with Product Owners to sequence delivery activities aligned to roadmap priorities and regulatory commitments.
- Support end-to-end implementation planning for Data Product releases.
- Facilitate planning and readiness activities across Technology, Operations, Risk and Business stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery milestones, dependencies and implementation activities remain aligned to agreed objectives.
Dependency & Integration Management
- Maintain visibility of dependencies across Data Products, Platforms and external teams.
- Identify, assess and manage delivery risks and blockers.
- Coordinate cross-platform activities required to deliver Data Product capabilities.
- Establish and maintain "golden thread" traceability between Outcomes, OKRs, Epics, Features and Data Products.
- Drive resolution of cross-team impediments.
Data Product Governance
- Support Product Owners through governance and control processes.
- Facilitate compliance with Data Producer Accountabilities, BCBS239, Data Risk and Enterprise Data standards.
- Coordinate stage-gate readiness activities within Data Marketplace and Collibra governance processes.
- Ensure required artefacts, approvals and evidence are available to support implementation decisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships across:
- Data Product Owners
- Engineering Leads
- Data Stewards
- Architecture teams
- Risk & Control teams
- Data Consumers
- Markets Operations stakeholders
- Align delivery plans across multiple business and technology areas.
- Provide clear communication of risks, dependencies, decisions and implementation readiness.
Change & Implementation
- Coordinate high-risk or complex Data Product implementations.
- Support route-to-live planning and execution.
- Facilitate implementation events and deployment readiness activities.
- Ensure operational readiness, service introduction and support arrangements are in place.
- Monitor implementation outcomes and drive lessons learned.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to increase delivery efficiency and reduce dependency bottlenecks.
- Promote Agile delivery practices across Data Product teams.
- Support improvement of governance, metadata management and Data Product operating model processes.
- Contribute to development of common Data Product delivery standards and ways of working.
