As a Finastra Summit Expertise Senior Program Manager at HCL is responsible for performing data analysis, business analysis, and applying Agile methodology to drive business objectives and improvements. They will be integral in shaping business strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring effective project management.

The typical duties include: |

Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Liaising with business users and stakeholders to understand, define, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for enhancements to the Summit platform. |
|
System Configuration and Functionality Expertise: Applying in-depth knowledge of the Summit Data Model, functionality, and configuration to design solutions that align with business needs, particularly for products like Interest Rate Swaps, Money Markets, and Fixed Income. |

Documentation: Creating detailed business specifications, functional Specification documents, interface requirements, and user stories for the development and testing teams. |
|
Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT teams (developers, testers, support), and vendors to ensure successful project delivery and change management. |
|
Testing Support: Providing input into test strategies, creating test cases and scenarios, assisting with test execution, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets all requirements and functions as designed. |

Problem Solving and Support: Supporting end-users with functional issues or questions, managing incidents, and working to identify and resolve potential risks and issues during the project lifecycle. |

Process Improvement: Analysing existing business processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and straight-through processing (STP). |

Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of existing and upcoming regulations to ensure any changes being made are compliant with these regulations |

Key Skills and Qualifications |

Finastra Summit Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience with the functionality, configuration, and architecture of the Finastra (Misys) Summit application is a must. |
|
Financial Domain Knowledge: Detailed industry knowledge of treasury and capital markets products (e.g., derivatives, bonds, money market instruments) and the entire trade lifecycle. |
|
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to bring structure to complex problems and develop data-driven solutions. |
|
Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like SQL for data analysis and validation is often required, as well as experience with relevant methodologies like Agile/Scrum. Knowledge of Right click is useful |
|
Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, from business users to technical architects. |
