Job Summary
Role Overview
Experienced Scrum Master responsible for driving Agile delivery, facilitating sprint ceremonies, removing impediments, improving team velocity, and providing transparent reporting of risks, progress, and delivery outcomes across complex enterprise programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Drive sprint cadence and ensure adherence to Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Identify, track, escalate, and help remove delivery blockers and impediments affecting team productivity.
- Monitor sprint velocity, burndown, sprint commitments, and delivery health metrics.
- Provide regular reporting on risks, dependencies, impediments, milestones, and overall delivery progress.
- Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint readiness.
- Coach delivery teams on Agile practices, Scrum principles, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate effectively across distributed teams, technical stakeholders, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
- Support proactive risk and dependency management across teams and workstreams.
- Ensure action items, blockers, and sprint commitments are tracked through closure.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Scrum and Agile delivery
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and/or Azure DevOps
- Sprint planning and backlog management
- Risk, issue, impediment, and dependency management
- Agile metrics and delivery reporting
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination
- Leadership, facilitation, and team coaching skills
- Experience working with distributed or cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Agile/Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale or complex technology programs
- Strong stakeholder and cross-team coordination skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
