Job Summary

This section outlines the comprehensive scope of services required from the specialized SAP HCM consultant.1.1. Scope of Work: The consultant shall be responsible for the successful implementation of "Zeitwertkonten" (time value accounts) functionality within IKEA's existing SAP HCM system. This includes, but is not limited to, analysis, design, configuration, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer. The implementation must integrate seamlessly with IKEA's current SAP HCM setup, which is hosted by ADP. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for configuring an interface to a portal with an insurance company to facilitate the management and handling of these time value accounts.1.2. Expected Deliverables:Detailed Business Blueprint/Concept Document for Zeitwertkonten implementation.Configuration documentation for all relevant SAP HCM modules (e.g., Time Management, Payroll).Configuration and integration documentation for the insurance company portal.Test plans and test cases, including user acceptance testing (UAT) support.Go-live support and post-implementation hyper care.Regular project status reports and participation in project meetings.Integration specifications with insurance portal.1.3. Quality Requirements:All configurations and developments must adhere to SAP best practices and IKEA's internal IT standards.Solutions must be robust, scalable, and maintainable.Documentation must be clear, comprehensive, and up to date.Consultant's work must meet agreed-upon performance metrics and service levels.1.4. Work Methodology: The consultant is expected to work in close collaboration with IKEA's internal project team and ADP representatives. An agile or hybrid project methodology is preferred, with regular sprints/iterations and feedback loops.1.5. Location of Services: The services will primarily be performed at the IKEA HRSC in Potsdam, Charlottenstr. 42, 14467, Germany. Onsite presence will be required as needed, with the possibility of remote work for certain tasks. Travel expenses for onsite work must be [SPECIFY IF INCLUDED IN RATES OR REIMBURSABLE ACCORDING TO IKEA POLICY].1.6. Staffing Qualifications: The consultant must possess the following mandatory qualifications:Proven experience in implementing "Zeitwertkonten" (time value accounts) within SAP HCM.Demonstrable experience working with SAP HCM, specifically those hosted by ADP.Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is mandatory.Extensive experience in SAP HCM modules, particularly Time Management (PT) and Payroll (PY).Experience with integrating SAP HCM with external portals or third-party systems (e.g., insurance providers).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.1.7. Responsibility Matrix (RACI): A detailed RACI matrix will be developed at the project initiation phase, clearly defining responsibilities between IKEA, the consultant, and ADP for each project task.IKEA will be responsible for defining all business requirements.The consultant will be responsible for the correct system configuration based on the defined business requirements.ADP as host of the SAP HCM system will do configuration in the system according to consultants’ specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. To oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards , implementation of best practices and perform Value creation and KM activities.
2. To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.
3. Responsible for shaping the overall project strategy working closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and keeping track of schedule to ensure on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
4. To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.
5. Identify & flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies / contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
