Senior React.js Technical Lead - JavaScript, Node.js

Job Summary

Extensive experience in developing Front End applications using React and Node.JS Strong proficiency in Type Script, Java Script, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Thorough understanding of React.js and Node.js and its core principles Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js) Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus Familiarity with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Yarn, etc. Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}} Knowledge in CICD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS, etc) Experience with authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc) and authorization of APIs and security best practices such as validation, etc Hand on Experience in MongoDB Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements A knack for benchmarking and optimization Experience with Agile SCRUM methodology for product development Proven ability and desire to deliver projects on time with high quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working in SaaS environment must have React, Typescript, Redux, Node

Prior experience of working in eCommerce domain and experience on platforms like commercetools (including Frontastic) will be a big plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing web applications using javascript, react.js, and node.js
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
3. Drive best practices in web development, including code reviews, performance optimization, and scalability
4. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes
5. Troubleshoot technical issues, provide solutions, and support continuous improvement of web applications
6. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and overall project goals

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in javascript, with a strong understanding of react.js and node.js frameworks
2. Experience in leading and managing a team of developers in web application development projects
3. Knowledge of web development best practices, design patterns, and software architecture principles
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
5. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, stakeholders, and clients
6. Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet project deadlines effectively
