Senior React.js Technical Specialist - JavaScript, Node.js

Job Summary

Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, API development, React JS

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development
  • Strong backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Strong frontend development experience using React.js; experience with Next.js is preferred
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs, microservices, and scalable web applications
  • Hands-on experience building applications within the AWS cloud ecosystem and integrating with AWS services
  • Experience with event-driven and serverless architectures is preferred
  • Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Strong SQL knowledge; preferred exposure to Oracle, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and other enterprise databases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure/configuration tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with containers, Linux, and shell scripting is preferred
  • Exposure to an additional programming language such as Python is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile teams with strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Resume should clearly demonstrate project-level usage of technologies, responsibilities handled, and business/technical impact delivered

Key Responsibilities

1. Designing and developing web applications using javascript, react.js, and node.js
2. Working closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
3. Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
4. Performing code reviews and providing feedback to team members
5. Troubleshooting and debugging application issues
6. Ensuring the security and performance of web applications
7. Keeping uptodate with industry trends and technologies in web development

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in javascript, react.js, and node.js
2. Strong understanding of web development concepts and best practices
3. Experience with frontend and backend development
4. Familiarity with restful apis and json
5. Knowledge of version control systems like git
6. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Good communication and teamwork abilities
8. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet project deadlines
